Araksa Tea Garden
Araksa Tea Garden is located on a scenic, evergreen hill in the Mae Tang District in Chiangmai, Thailand. It specializes in producing high quality Assam tea.
The tea garden covers 111 acres and consists of tea plants that range from 40 to 70 years old. The site is one of the oldest tea gardens in Thailand. In 1941, the tea garden began planting approximately 50 acres of Assam tea plants. The garden was then sold and left untouched for over 15 years until its new ownership in 2014.
Left undisturbed for many years, the tea plants have not been exposed to chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Today they are producing excellent organic tea leaves.
