UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENT WITH REFERENCE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Our way of “travelling” - as we used to only a short while ago - has changed following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, and although restrictions stay in place in most parts of the world, Thailand has started to reopen for domestic travel. While we cannot predict when international travel can resume, we gladly inform our Thai visitors and expats residing in Thailand of the health and safety measures we have in place in our various destinations.
Improved Health & Safety Measures
While mask and glove-wearing staff will likely become a new and recognized norm, improved health and safety measures will also be seen beyond the walls of accommodation providers. Our team has been hard at work with updating processes and procedures that will keep you safe when traveling. That includes everything from regular temperature checks of all staff, guides and drivers, to surface wipedowns of vehicles, tables and chairs and high-frequency touchpoints, masks and sanitizers on-hand for personal protection and more throughout the experiences we offer at our lodges, cruises and the tea garden.
Keeping Distance
Asian Oasis experiences have always focused on avoiding the crowds and mainstream tourism. We take our guests to places that are typically unseen. For us, not much will change with regards to avoiding the crowds. However, we have added additional measure in place to guarantee what we rather call “physical” than “social distancing”.

Remote & Healing Escapes
“Social distancing” is the term we all wish we could forget. Yet until we return to what we used to think was normal, we’re planning for more secluded escapes. This included the reopening in early July of our Lisu Lodge and the Araksa Tea Estate in Ban Chang, Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai. The continuation of Private Charters of the Namthip Luxury River Cruise boat on the Chao Phraya River in August; and we intend to restart Private Charters of our June Bahtra Cruises in Phuket as early as September, while the reopening of Lanjia Lodge in Chiang Khong, Chiang Rai is planned for early December of 2020. Remote destinations take you off the beaten path will be the escape we all need to refresh our mind, body and soul. We all will be in much need of rest after pandemic life and this is something we have been working on behind the scenes in our recently relaunched tea tours and Lisu Lodge experiences.

We’re here to plan, so that your experience is hassle-free.
