We have just come back from Thailand where we spent our first few days in the north for a nice trekking up to Lahu Outpost & Khum Lanna lodge with our lovely guide Ata. (We had already met him last year when going to Lisu Lodge for a 2 days / 1 night soft adventure trip)
We would like to thank and congratulate you and all your team for helping us having had such a nice time during this exceptional 3 days from 7-9 Feb we spent there. Everything went well, timing and all with always something different coming up after to make us happy.
It was just the right pace for the trekking, which we enjoyed the most I supposed because of the so beautiful landscape. The trekking through the forest and jungle was amazing and fun too, specially with Ata who made it interesting. We arrived up there in the dark under a full moon and we will remember these moments for a very long time as the place was so quiet and seemed to be the end of the world (we were the only guests).
Then we enjoyed very much the Khum Lanna lodge, the whole place was so beautiful, the team was so nice and the place was so peaceful. We enjoyed all our meals very much on the terrace overlooking the river and the cooking lessons, the massage and the ride on our bikes at down on the next morning with Ata again, just the 3 of us: It was a real treat and we had an amazing time.
We would love to come back to north Thailand and Laos next February with you (and Ata of course!). I was looking on your web site at your programmes around Chiang Raï to organize a different trekking and a small cruise on theMekongfrom Huay Xai to Luang Prabang and a stay at the Luang Say lodge.
We also would consider your offers and advices for a stay in one of the south Thailand quiet beach resorts with sandy beaches and coral spots to dive and snorkel (away from the crowds) as we have been a little disappointed by Koh Chang island (because we could not swim and the beach was too small) where we stayed this time. Last year we also spent some time in Koh Samui that I found lovely but too busy and too commercial.
We better try smaller islands in the Andaman gulf with crystal waters.
Looking forward to hearing from you
