There is so much we can learn from tribal people, which are so often much more closely connected to the environment than our modern world. Asian Oasis has been a pioneer of community-based tourism on Thailand, and in supporting tribal villages of the Akha, Hmong, Lisu and Lahu tribes.

We are able to bring you in close contact with villagers of these tribes, to learn from them directly about their traditions, heritage, customs and believes. Visit a Shaman’s house and chat about spiritual believes, or learn from a Hmong woman their hundred years old tradition of batik and cross-stitching.
