Asian Oasis - Mystical Journeys are a dedicated Lodging and Cruise operating company in Thailand and Laos. We are not a Travel agency and for such we are not providing any services extended from the tour programs we are conducting within our lodge and cruise programs, except transfer to and from location.
Lodges
Asian Oasis lodges are all located in the Northern part of Thailand and consist of Lisu Lodge and Khum Lanna located in Chiang Mai province, and Lanjia Lodge located in Chiang Rai province - in Chiang Kong district near the Mekong River and on the border to Laos.
Our philosophy is a visible interaction, guests and villagers in between, and for that reason all employees at our lodge are local villagers. The guides during the included tours are also local villagers who have grown up in the area and known it as their home ground. We are not providing bed and breakfast, but a full range of programs; from soft adventure over cooking lessons, to more demanding trekking tours, to give the guests of our lodges the best experience of the local and the surrounding areas.
Cruises
Asian Oasis cruises consist of the 3 converted rice barges - Mekhala 1,2 & 3 in Bangkok, famous for the Ayutthaya overnight and Dinner cruises. In Phuket the Suwan Macha offers a 4-day cruise that caters to those who want to get the firsthand cruise experience, while the 3 June Bahtra schooners conduct exciting day trips in the scenic Pang Nga Bay area. All Asian Oasis cruises are available as join-in tours or as private charter.
