The Hilltribe Experience
Day 01 LISU LODGE (L, D)
09h00: Arrive at Lisu Lodge. A traditional welcome drink will
be served prior to the briefing for your adventurous day.
Start your adventure with an easy 13 km (about 8 mile) of cycling to the
rafting point.
Then enjoy 45 minutes of rafting on an inflatable raft downriver to a
traditional Thai country village, followed by a short transfer to the
Elephant Camp for a scenic picnic lunch.
Enjoy an hour of elephant riding through the beautiful mountainous jungle
down to the river.
Then take a short drive to an Akha village for a village visit, including
a chat with the shaman (spirit doctor).
Return to Lisu Lodge via your choice of bike or local truck.
Arrive at Lisu Lodge around 4 p.m. Time at leisure until dinner.
Enjoy a Thai dinner with a traditional Lisu dance show.
Overnight at the Lisu Lodge.
Day 02 LISU LODGE (B)
Breakfast at the Lodge.
End of the Adventure.
